The Kooks U.S. Tour Tickets

The Kooks will be invading the U.S. in the coming months, and fans stateside can’t wait to hear the U.K. pop band live in Concert in 2012. Known for their catchy tunes and 1960′s British Invasion style, The Kooks have been slowly growing in popularity since debuting in 2006, and this will be their first foray into being a headlining act.

The first rose to prominence with their debut album in ’06, which featured several radio hits. Their follow-up recording in 2008 eventually peaked at #1 on the U.K. Pop Charts, and once again featured catchy songs that garnered serious airplay. In 2011 they released their third album, Junk of the Heart, and like their two previous efforts, it has been well received by both critics and fans, and the songs are beginning to get airplay on U.S. rock and pop stations.

Made-up of frontman Luke Pritchard, guitarist Hugh Harris, drummer Paul Garred, and bassist Peter Denton, The Kooks will kick off their 2012 U.S. Tour in Las Vegas at the House of Blues on February 28, and they are currently scheduled to headline seven gigs between then and early March. After that, they will join up with Foster the People to provide a supporting act on their very popular tour.
